Why Spokane City Council should override Mayor Condon’s ill-advised veto and vote in favor of a stable climate and a healthy community.
This afternoon Mayor Condon announced that he will veto the ordinance forming a Sustainability Action Committee and establish the goal of moving toward 100% renewable electricity by 2030. The City Council is likely to override the veto.
